While his teammate Thaddeus Young had a mediocre game, there is no other way to describe Javaris Crittenton’s performance than as an absolute disaster.

He went scoreless and was held without an assist in the first 18 minutes of the game, which helped UNLV coast to a double digit lead that they maintained for most of the first half.

Crittenton settled for ill-advised outside shots and pounded the ball incessantly, which meant that Georgia Tech’s offense lacked any kind of direction. He struggled with the fullcourt press and turned the ball over repeatedly on terrible decisions, not making any reads in the half-court and constantly making the same mistakes over and over again.

ahem ahem! <<summer league recap for the lakers>> The article FORGOT to mention the kid averaged 6+ APG

    -----------------

Standout Player: Crittenton stood out as the best player on the floor in most games. He averaged 17.0 ppg on 48.5% shooting from the field. Leaving out the limited minutes he played against the Philadelphia 76ers, Crittenton averaged a gaudy 21.3 ppg at a 52.5% clip. He proved he could take over games offensively, scoring in bunches. His prior experience playing in the triangle offense (high school) served to his advantage. Instead of laboring to find his spots in a complicated offense, Crittenton was just able to go to work. Much of his scoring came through improvisation. It'll take some time to see how he adjusts the full fledged system the team will run in October, but Crittenton showed enough for many to realize the Lakers got a steal with the 19th pick in the draft. Crittenton was named to the Las Vegas Summer League All-Star Team.

Key Questions: Considering the Lakers signed Derek Fisher to a contract along with drafting standout Crittenton, does that mean Farmar is on the block? The Lakers have some time before training camp to make those sorts of decisions. Obviously if a big opportunity turned up to land a major impact player, Farmar would only be a small part of a deal. By himself he's not exactly going to bring Kevin Garnett to Los Angeles. Still, there are a number of teams in need of a point guard and Farmar has tremendous upside. The Lakers may be prepared to go to camp with the existing roster . . . but Crittenton's play this summer makes it a little easier to part with Farmar.

No idea who he is... if there's any team that a prospect PG can shine, LA would be it... I'd be glad to see him work out for LA though, much like your Round 12 pick on Zaza 2 years ago

You're right about the add/drop, malamang ako nanaman mauuna or si ILD hahaha... But I really like my guys this year... If ever may maidrop, malamang injured or si YOU CANT SEE MEEEHHH! coz there are some guys left that I really would like to try out.
