hi doc jm, good day, yung friend ko na trace na may hypertensive at mataas count ng uric acid, tanong ko lang doc kung ok yung gamot na reseta ng doktor nya losartan potassium hydrochlorotiazide (combizar 50mg/12.5mg) para sa hypertension at allopurinol (llanol 100mg) para sa uric acid. almost 2 wks pa lang sya nagte-take ng gamot. saka doc ano kaya mga bawal at pwede na food kainin nya?

tagal ko nawala dito ah.. on-duty ulit!

hmm. with regards sa gamot na naireseta sa kaibigan mo okay yun.. no probs about it..
with regards to diet and food intake, here we go:

for hypertensives, usually we limit the salt intake. this is to ensure your kidneys are not overladen w/ the burden of processing the excess body salt levels, mas lalo tataas BP. another is that, take it easy on the fatty foods, limit fried foods to 2x weekly; oven bake, grill, steam or make a soup-base viand instead..

with regards sa mataas na uric acid levels, cut down on proteins.. this is because this turns into uric acid as the body processes it to simpler forms.. kaya hinay-hinay konti sa karne, sardinas, beans and iba pa na matataas sa protina.

in total: LOW SALT, LOW FAT, LOW PROTEIN DIET.. =)

related ba yung ear problem at yung cramps sa kamay or isolated case sila?
kasi if related, baka meron po kayo nerve problem.. ano po work ninyo?
