and i am wondering, why does it take forever to get HMO approval?
i have also been inconvenienced by this HMO thing. i had to wait a long time, for my patient to get approval. sayang oras naming dalawa.
Busy phone line usually. So there's probably too many people calling to get approval and too few personnel to take those calls. Minsan nakakahiya rin pag naririnig mong ulit ulit tumatawag yung secretary or nurse tasked with getting the approval.

Protocol ng hospital. I was considered symptomatic so I had to wait in isolation until all test results came out. Hindi rin ako sure kung sasagutin ng HMO ang rt-pcr kung hindi muna ako magpapatingin sa accredited doctor.

Rt-pcr came back positive BTW. Lucky me.

    Anong HMO mo??

We recently transferred to Care Health Plus and may dedicated viber support agent na ni assign sa company namin.. and kung magpapa approved, we just msg the Viber group 1 day before nung scheduled Lab or Consultation and they send the LOA the same day, so pag punta namin sa Hospital or Clinic, approved na agad.

it's one thing to employ nurses as... nurses.

it's another to accept one for "training".

i did not specifically say that this is THE explanation for kagalingan's post.
    it certainly is one possibility...
but there are other possibilities as well.
one has to know all the facts, to get at the explanation behind what may appear to be, an incongruity.

Alam o naman si Kags, hindi nagreresearch. Behavior lang daw sapat na. Kaya yan, superficial analysis. Malamang heading lang binasa niyan.
