Did you see how classy the WCF was between LA and SA that it just leaves you breathless. If you have noticed the production consistency of Gasol and Odom in the series leading to the finals(UTA and DN series), you will say they were nowhere near that performance. So blaming Phil is also off. Blaming Kobe? I wonder how you can do that carrying his team all the way to the finals with a broken pinkie and finding 3 to 4 Celtic defenders go at you in the Finals. If I will balme anyone, it's Sasha who let go of Ray Allen in the game 4 closing seconds with the Celts only up 2. They shoulda won that frickin' game, man....and cruise to game 5 win for a 3-2 lead in the series....damn you Auerbach!

    I completely lost myself there....he-he

Hi Eismann...yup I saw the ECF finals...every single game of it...I wouldn't consider Boston as lucky to escape Detroit because of Billups' injury...that's part of the game so no faulting injury as a reason to loose a series...plus the Pistons stole game 2 from Boston, so I don't think Detroit was at a disadvantage...if we are to point injuries as a factor then what if Mchale and Parish were 100% during the 1987 finals against LA?...then the outcome might be different right? but that's history na...

My points raised were for the organization (LA) to consider...Phil is on a 2 finals losing streak...that means his system (triangle) is already solved with a tough defense (like in 04 and 08) both teams the Pistons and Celtics were known defensive teams and they beat the triangle offense of Phil.

LA is Kobe's team...they made this when they traded Shaq in 2004...so the success of this team will surely be associated with Kobe...what Kobe should do is to motivate his supporting cast and not intimidate them by giving mean or "dagger" looks at them when a play fails...

Loosing a clinching game in the finals by 39 points and loosing a game after leading by 24 points in a finals game is no excuse...what more with a coach of Phil's caliber and with an MVP Kobe in his roster?....Mitch Kupchack got his hands full this off season...

Thanks for noticing my post Eismann...these are just my views and I respect yours too...peace

if you were the Heat, would you trade the #2 pick (Michael Beasley most likely) for Chris Wilcox and the #4?

if you were the Pacers, would you trade Jermaine O'Neal to the Raptors for TJ Ford and the 17th pick in a shallow draft?

just a couple of rumors that i found silly, but are widely reported as being true. that Pacers rumor is particularly bad....why would you trade your all-star for a second or third rate PG? yeah, JO is injury prone, but why would you trade him for Ford, who's a much much worse injury risk? and what game changing player are you hoping to get at 17?

and would Miami trade down and pass on Beasley for what is essentially cap space (Wilcox's contract is expiring so he's essentially a 1-season rental)? i guess the only way Miami does this is if they are sure OJ Mayo will still be available - apparently Pat Riley has the biggest man-crush on that kid

miami is just bluffing. they want beasley.

wade is great and rose is good. but do you want a 6'2" guard and a 6'4" shooting guard on your starting line up. and both players are actually not consistent shooters. they both like to drive to the basket.

Beasley will be snatched by Chicago, imo.

if that's the case, both miami and chicago are bluffing hehehe

watched some clips of deandre jordan. if he is really that tall, he's agile for his height. might be good in the future.

lots of 7 footers from europe but not sure if they are that good. reviews say that they are "soft".

Looks like the J.O. for TJ Ford pushed through.

Don't like the OJ Mayo for Kevin Love and scrubs trade between the Twolves and Memphis though.
