now it's easier to see why this thread was started with the comparison of kobe to his airness. . .kobe showed that, just like mike, he can also have a certain degree of control of a ballgame. . .yan ang mvp!. . .this game 1 sends an unexpected message to popovich and the spurs
go lakers!

Well at least it makes it exciting, Celts have not been beaten at home in the Playoffs excpet today. Well congratulations are in order for Detroit for winning in a hostile environment they should have the upper hand now since for the next 2 games it goes back to Detroit...

Pistons won 103-87. Celt's first post-season loss on their home floor. But, on the upside, welcome back Ray Allen! For Detroit, welcome back Chauncy B-B-B-Billups!
The C's got nothing from their bench tonight in stark contrast with Detroit who got a solid contribution from rookie guard Rodney Stuckey. It now remains to be seen if Kenny Smith's view that the "Celtics game don't travel" will still hold true when they visit the Pistons. Should still be a long, drawn-out series for both teams

^ I agree..Pero dont count out the spurs yet..Mataas parin possibilidad na sila parin to at detroit, reaching game 7 cardiac game sa finals..
As for the celtics..ika nga ni Byron scott to his hornets, You dont go from not making the playoffs to winning the championship, it doesnt work that way..

I don't think Boston has what it takes to make it all the way.
Their inability to win a road game in the playoffs shows that
they haven't jelled that well yet as a team.
Hindi sila cool under fire at parang natataranta pa pag nalalamangan.
Although their "Big 3" (Allen, KG, and Pierce) all have playoff
experience, this is the first time for them together. At yung coach nila
(Doc Rivers) mukhang hindi kasing galing ni Jackson and Popo.
For me the Spurs-Lakers series is the NBA championship already.
Whoever wins this series will go on to win the NBA plum. Magaling
din ang Detroit but not in the same class as San Antonio or LA.
I think its LA in 6. That come from behind win by the Lakers has dealt
a fatal psychological blow to the Spurs that they might find hard to
recover from. Kobe is simply too awesome and the big difference this
year is that he has a fabulous supporting cast (Pau, Odom, D-Fish, etc.)
that will propel them all the way!
