Celtics seemd invincible in the regular season, kaso parang dallas sila, dinadaga sa playoffs, as long as di maging over confident(nanaman) ang detroit they'll be eaten alive by the pistons.

i agree. . .i don't foresee a need for a game 7 to decide this series. . .kung sa one-man show ni lbj nahirapan na ang celtics, paano pa kaya against a very team-solid pistons squad?

lakers-spurs. . .i can't predict the outcome, kung andito lang sana si bynum to man the inside. . .although, of course, i am very much hoping for a lakers-pistons finals to have a chance to get back at detroit for ending the 3peat in 2004 and the back-to-back in 1989

    Let's keep things real.

Sure, the C's had a difficult series in disposing of the Cavs. But, then again, so did the Pistons who, I may add, lost last year's ECF. Using the same logic as an argument, it could be said that if the Pistons lost to LBJ and a couple of NBDL players from last year's Cavs squad, I'd like to see what kind of strategy they'll put forth in containing 3 all-stars.

Honestly, with the exception of the PG position, I don't see the Pistons having any decided advantage to this series. The Pistons have a young bench in Stuckey, Maxiell and Afflalo while the C's have experience in Cassel, PJ Brown and House. I have a strong feeling this series will go the distance.

Altlanta Hawks and the Cavs really played hard and did their homework to earn a seven game series with the Celtics. But mind you that was when Allen was almost invisible in those games!

In my opinion, it was a tactic by Doc Rivers not to utilize Allen much (there was no clear designed plays for Allen) so Detroit and the west champions will have a hard time figuring out what plays Boston will gonna use for them. Allen will be working full time come Detroit and the finals and he'll be great (again)!

They'll get better with the Detroit series. I think Celitcs will win in 6 games. Boston is built right and designed to beat Detroit, San Antonio and The Lakers from day 1. On the other hand, Detroit, San Antonio and The Lakers will still be figuring out how to beat The Celtics!

^^ agree... the celtics did not use allen in both series... given that allen is a formidable 3 point shooter... inside out ang laro nila. mahihirapan din yung detroit to guard 3 all stars especially if all of them are contributing.

though detroit team is solid, parang celtics pa din in papasok sa finals IMO.

I love the Celtics but I don't agree that Ray Allen was not used in the first 2 playoff series, truth is he did not deliver. He will have to deliver in the Detroit series if the C's want to advance. If not, the Pistons will stretch this to a 7 game series.

Aside from veteran advantage in the starting 5, the Pistons have a veteran bench too to match up with them. Lindsey Hunter and Theo Ratliff, remember?
Eddie House and Leon Powe bench play will probably decide whether the C's can close out the Pistons in 5 or 6 games.

Ray Allen was outplayed in the Cleveland series by one of the players he was traded for, Wally Szcerbiak :rofl01:
