i hope Eddy Fatass-can't-be-bothered-to-rebound-or-defend Curry doesn't get traded to Miami. Pat did good getting Marion for Shaq. getting Mike Miller for Ricky Davis would be a nice bonus, but Memphis would be stupid to go for that (owel, they did trade Gasol :hihihi: ). but i hope he doesnt screw this all up by trading for Curry.

the Heat aren't going anywhere this year. but this offseason they will have a high lottery pick, and salary cap room from the expiration of the contracts of Shawn Marion, Ricky Davis and Jason Williams.

why waste the cap space on Curry? draft well, resign Shawn Marion, and go after a quality FA....like....Elton Brand :idea:

swak ba sa salary cap if Elton gets a max contract?

ideal scenario - :drool:

starting 5: Wade, Daequan Cook, Marion, Haslem, Brand

bench: Dorell Wright, Michael Beasley or Derrick Rose (08 rookies), tapos kahit sino na :clap:

AFAIK di kaya sa cap if Brand + Marion... But if nawala contract ni JWill and RD kakayanin... I think Pat has a plan, kinda hard to undermine Pat's brain hehe.

if they let RD and Jwill's contract expire miami is still near the cap at 53M
assuming that the cap is at 55M they can only sign a 2M player plus the 5M mid level exception...not enough for an elton brand....

they right thing to do here is get something in return (for expiring contracts) than nothing
