I don't think bench pressing can make a talented and skillful player like Durant a lesser player in the NBA. During the 60's, 70's and late 80's, baskteball players then were skinny. Larry Bird, Michael Cooper and Dough Jones are just a sample of players who are skinny but did shine on different facets of the their game. In time, Durant will be able to bench 185 after undergoing rigid weight training program. Maybe Durant had a hard time pressing 185 because of his 7'-5" wingspan.

Zach Randolph joining Ed Curry frontline would be huge. I'm sure there will be traffic in the shaded lane once this two join forces. Good for the Knicks!

zach's off court antics will be a pleasant change to knick fans who are getting tired of isiah and starbury

I think they need to ship out Marbury. Mukhang malas siya sa any team na mapasukan niya. Remember Phoenix Suns, They had Marion, Barbosa and Stoudamire but was booted out early prior to Nash's entry in the Sun's lineup.
With regards to Francis co-existing with Roy....hmmmm..I doubt. Unless he already changed his ways being a ballhog.
I could see Durant as a special player in the NBA. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

July 3rd, 2007 12:31 PM #7939benchpress is a benchmark lang on players' upperbody strenght, but durant offer much better than that he is blessed with talent, skills and very long wingspan

if the blazers buy out Franchise, sobrang bata ang line-up nila! nyehehe
I believe in the idea of the bench press as being one among the numerous workouts used to gauge a player's strength. as mentioned earlier, dapat NBA-ready na ang body ng player. (like Lebron's) kungdi, baka apihin lang yan sa mga screens and defense.
anyway, maganda naman ang weight-training regimen ng mga teams eh. i'm sure durant will be bulking up in no time. iba na ang players lately as compared to the ones before.
Dito pala nasagot na din "feri" meaning. Sedan nga. hehe
What's a Ferio?
