February 27th, 2007 03:20 PM #7251Shaun Livingston suffered a dislocated left knee on Monday night and is likely done for the season.
Livingston's knee bent about 90 degrees the wrong way when he collapsed after missing a layup, so this is not a knee cap injury, but instead a dislocation of his entire knee. He and his teammates were screaming at the sight of the injury and he was stretchered off the court after several minutes of stabilizing the leg. Watching this game live brought back images of the Joe Theisman injury, and makes for disturbing video. He's been transported to the hospital and the Clippers broadcasters are hopeful his career is not in jeopardy. With Livingston's season almost assuredly over, Sam Cassell and Daniel Ewing will get a boost in value, but we doubt Ewing will be worth a pickup. The Clippers will also likely need to sign another point guard as well.

^^ Ouch!! I feel for the young buck, he also suffered almost the same injury on his right knee during his rookie season, hope he comes back strong.
