February 23rd, 2007 11:14 PM #7231Man, DJ is gone. Naalala ko yung Bird to DJ play against the Pistons. Grabe, puro tragedies ang nangyari sa Celts this season. Anyway RIP DJ, thanks for the memories. Speaking of Celtics, Lakers pa ang susunod nilang kalaban. Uh oh.

but the lakers aren't looking that hot either... losers of 6 straight, and 12 of the last 16.

liar liar!!! :hysterical:
Vladimir Radmanovic admitted on Friday that he lied about how he suffered his separated shoulder in Utah. Radmanovic stated initially that he hurt himself by falling on a patch of ice in the street, but came forward today with the truth, which was that he suffered the injury snowboarding.
Radmanovic went so far as to give a detailed account about how he had his hands in his pockets and couldn't protect himself when he fell on the ice. The Lakers were already livid about the fact he injured himself during the All-Star break and there was speculation that it happened on the slopes. It will be interesting to see what disciplinary action the Lakers take against Radmanovic, if any. Either way, he's probably lost the trust of his coach and Lakers' management.

February 25th, 2007 01:10 PM #7237More alarming were The Big Ticket's comments after the game when he expressed unhappiness about Minnesota's lack of deadline activity. "Thank God for opt-outs," he said, referring to a clause in his contract that allows him to leave after next season.

this is like the third or fourth time KG has made comments like that. either it's frustration of the moment, or he's trying to light a fire under his management, but every time he's changed his tune after a while and reinforced his commitment to Minnesota.
keep in mind that KG will be taking a huge pay cut if he opts out...he's making something like 25 million a year, which no team can match under the new CBA - max under the new rules is 16 million IIRC. it might be worth it for him to give up the money to sign with a contender, but there are still 9 million reasons a year for him to stay....

but i think it's well worth opting out to get a ring. he's made something like 80-90M with the 4 years from his existing contract. and besides, the twolves are in shambles right now, not giving a clean cut supporting cast, sans the 2004 playoff run with sam cassell and spree.
