miami all da way!
i hope kapono wins the 3pt contest over cuban's boy.
kapono on starting for the heat:
''I don't think anyone is going to know who I am,'' Kapono said. ``I'm just going to show up, and people are going to be like, `What's going on out there? Who let him in?'
'When I go out there as a starter [in Heat games], some guys say `Hey Shaq. Hey Dwyane. Hey guy, what's up.' ''
on parties:
``No one invites me to any parties. Even [Alonzo Mourning]. He's having a billiards thing in Vegas, and I never even got anything. He doesn't even know who I am, and I'm on his team.''

Scottie Pippen is contemplating a comeback, looking to sign with a contender in need of a backup point guard.
"I'm thinking of trying to come back for the playoffs," Pippen said. "Something like the last two months of the season, somewhere I can come back and play limited minutes to start, play point forward for someone and build toward the playoffs. It's something I've been thinking about for the last three months." Pippen turned 41 in September, but says he's in great shape. He's at his playing weight of 220 pounds and his body fat is at an all-time low of 5%. Teams like the Cavaliers, Suns and Heat could all benefit from another point guard for the playoffs, so don't be surprised if Pippen is back in the league soon.

Kobe intrigued by Pippen comeback talk
Six-time NBA champion told Chicago writers that he's healthy enough to give it a try. Phil Jackson among 15 finalists eligible for Hall of Fame.

LAS VEGAS -- With Scottie Pippen announcing he wants to make a comeback at 41, Kobe Bryant announced he'll try to convince him to do it as a Laker.
"He was in camp with us last season and he looked like he was in great shape," said Bryant at today's All-Star media session. "I'm going to tell him there's a place in the triangle for him."
Pippen retired after going on the injured list as a Bull in February of 2004. Two days ago he told two Chicago writers that his body has healed and he wants to play again.
A Laker official said it was too early to comment. However, with rookie Jordan Farmar in the rotation, they have been looking for a veteran guard.
Coach Phil Jackson has a demonstrated preference for his former players, as when he installed 35-year-old Ron Harper as his starting point guard in 1999, so the Lakers are expected to at least check it out.
Pippen won six NBA titles with the Bulls while playing alongside Michael Jordan, and was a member of two U.S. Olympic teams that won gold medals.
In 17 seasons with Chicago, Houston and Portland, Pippen averaged 16.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists.
