February 10th, 2007 01:31 AM #7122sometimes you have to take a step back to move two steps forward, look at the Spurs circa mid 90s they were struggling so badly that they lost a lot - like 50 games or so, David Robinson was lost for the season with back surgery but there was a silver lining, they got the 1st overall selection = Tim Duncan and the rest was history. Too bad for the Celts and Rick Pitino.
Hopefully they'll get the #1 or #2 overall selection in the lottery = Kevin Durant or Greg Oden. Either one will be a franchise stud. Pag minalas pa sila, fire Danny Ainge
