Denver? Pwede nadin for me hehe... But now they have 2 prolific scorers... Hmm, I wonder if AI will fit in since JR Smith is quite an important piece for Denver right now.

Denver nga yata ang front runner. mainly because they have two first round picks and some expiring contracts. (btw imagine how good this team would be now if they hadnt torpedoed their future by giving up a ton of draft picks and salary space for KMart, and given unproven injury prone Nene that ridiculous contract.
hirap i-dissect yung fact from fiction, but it seems reasonable that Philly will want both picks, in addition to an expiring contract and a young talent. dun yata sa huli sila nagkakatalo, because i heard that the Sixers first wanted Camby (to which Denver said no way)...so now maybe they have their sights on JR Smith?
Celts are also still in the running...it's really just up to Danny Ainge if he'll give up two (or more) of his young but raw guys - West, Gomes, Jefferson, Telfair, Green - along with Theo Ratliff. personally, i would do it if i only lose two guys. proven superstar and probably a Hall-of-Famer for raw unproven talent.

If AI goes to Denver, JR Smith will be irrelevant fantasy wise atleast, he is a volume shooter, won't be as effective of the bench...
AI gets 20+ shots, Carmelo gets his 20+ shots, the rest? Well pagaagawan na nila Miller, Camby, JR Smith... they would have to play Phoenix style basketball to get more shot attempts and to take advantage of their scoring prowess.

maybe karl can do a better job in coaxing AI to be a pass-first pt. guard. asa pa :bwahaha:
The Nuggets are trying to unload center Nene, whom the 76ers would agree to take only if he passed a rigorous physical. Nene missed all but one game last season with a knee injury.
With 76ers general manager Billy King lukewarm on Nene, the Nuggets were working hard Friday to involve the Trail Blazers, who could send Jamaal Magloire's expiring contract to Philadelphia. The Bulls, Mavericks, Raptors and Bobcats also have expressed interest in facilitating a deal as the third team. The Bulls could offer P.J. Brown's expiring contract; the Mavs could send Austin Croshere to Philly.
Denver is so determined to take some of the scoring load off Carmelo Anthony that it is willing to part with Andre Miller. The deal could be sweetened with Joe Smith's $6.8-million expiring contract going to Philly.
Denver also can offer the 76ers one of its two first-round picks in the 2007 draft. Minnesota has none, so the Timberwolves need a third team to make a deal work even more than the Nuggets do.

10 players ejected after Nuggets-Knicks brawl
Article posted December 17, 2006, 11:44 am
NEW YORK - Ten players, including NBA scoring leader Carmelo Anthony, were ejected for fighting during a wild brawl near the end of Saturday night's game between the Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks.
All 10 players on the court at the time were tossed for their involvement in the ugly incident that spread across the court and spilled into the crowd at Madison Square Garden.
The brawl was the NBA's scariest incident since Indiana Pacers players fought with
Detroit Pistons' fans on the court and in the stands in 2004.
Anthony scored 34 points before the melee took place with 1:15 left in the Nuggets' 123-100 victory over the Knicks.
Denver led 119-100 when Knicks guard Mardy Collins grabbed Denver's J.R. Smith around the neck as Smith was going in for a breakaway layup. Smith got up and jawed with Collins, and New York's Nate Robinson jumped in to yell at Smith.
Anthony rushed in and pushed Robinson in the neck, triggering the roughest moment, when Robinson and Smith went flying into the stands while fighting with each other. Anthony also appeared to throw a punch at Collins, and then backed away toward the center of the court.
New York's Jared Jeffries ran from the baseline toward Anthony, but was tackled by a Denver player. The brawl stretched to the other end of the court toward the Nuggets' bench before coaches and security finally pulled Smith away and restored order.
With each team forced to put five new players on the floor, Denver finished up the win and ended a two-game losing streak. Marcus Camby had 24 points and nine rebounds, and Andre Miller added 12 points and 10 assists for the Nuggets. - AP

A blowout game in hand with all nuggets starters still on the floor with 1:15 left... hmmm smells fishy out there.
Well, players can expect a harsh penalty with the brawl happening at Madison Square Garden, right in the hometown of NBA headquarters.
"Obviously, it's unfortunate. Nobody want to see that. It just doesn't belong in the NBA" .
