    O nga raw...

Back to AI, I think Charlotte has the biggest chance of landing AI, but if AI only wants to be traded to a contending team or another team with a superstar, Celts and TWolves might be it...

    Felton
    Iverson
    Wallace
    May
    Okafor

Sounds good enough on paper hehe.

AI to the Celtics? si Gerald Green lang daw untouchable sa Celtics, would we see an AI - Pierce swap?

Or how about AI to NYK? Imagine a backcourt of AI and Marbury so much for NY being Eddy Curry's team...

AI to the Mavs? mmm... I can't imagine Mark Cuban shaking up a championship contender.

AI to the Bobcats? They would have to trade half of the players in their roster to get AI.

AI to the Nuggets? Can Melo and AI coexist?

I want AI to go to Minny, KG is so unselfish that AI would fit in well and they will become instant contenders. But who do they have to give up to get AI? they might have to give up half the team to match AI's salary.

all those teams have the pieces to make it work. AI-Pierce would definitely not fly, because Boston doesn't gain anything from that swap, and the whole point of courting AI was so he could play with Pierce. but, they could give the retiring Theo Ratliff's contract with two of their young guns (Jefferson, Rondo, Delonte, Green, Bassy) and a draft pick. that would tempt the 6ers (why is Green untouchable anyway? he hasn't proven enough to even get in the regular rotation?)

for the Knicks, Francis + Frye would be a tempting combo. but like ILD said, how would a AI/Marbury backcourt help the Knicks?

Mark Cuban loves stars and i think he would give up anybody not named Howard or Dirk to get AI. even the much hyped Devin Harris....imho

Wolves - Foye, Blount, Davis (although if i were Philly i would ask for Mike James instead of Ricky the Cancer)

Nuggets - parang mahirap yata. Andre Miller + ?? unless KMart is going to retire and they can give his soon-to-be-voided contract

Bobcats - one thing to remember is that the Cats are seriously under the salary cap. so they can give up less salary to take on AI's deal. but if you're Bernie B., would you risk giving up Ray Felton or Okafor to get a few years of superstar play from AI?

    hmmm.....

follow up - i haven't heard their name mentioned in any of the articles, but one team that could really use Iverson is the Bulls. no proven scorer or go-to guy to make them a true contender, a lot of highly talented but mismatched players, and enough depth to offer Philly a little bit of everything. i don't think they'll give up Hinrich, and Philly's probably not interested in Big Ben...but couldn't they give up Nocioni/Gordon/Deng, plus a ridiculous contract like PJ Brown's, and even a draft pick to get AI?

follow-up #2 - Boston is Philly's division rival for the Atlantic. i think they will be last on the list of potential suitors if Billy King is smart.

NBA to go back to old ball

NEW YORK (AP) -- The NBA will scrap its new microfiber composite ball and bring back the old leather one beginning Jan. 1, an official told The Associated Press on Monday.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the announcement of the switch was not due until at least Tuesday.

Scratch off the Bobcats from the AI deal...

"We're not interested in mortgaging the future,'' Bernie Bickerstaff said Monday, when asked if the team will make an offer for Iverson. "We're pleased with our young players and we don't want to part with any of them.

"We will not mortgage our future.''

This is interesting....however I don't think the Bulls will make this move. It's more probable to see Minnesota doing all they could to offer a trade scenario for Philly. If the Bulls will budge though, Nocioni/Gordon/PJ Brown are the likely involved players indeed.
