^hehe...hindi si Yao ang nagbago kundi siya - slower and older it was great of him to restructure his contract (and for the Heat to have won at least one championship with his help), because if not this might have gone down as one of the worst long-term decisions for the franchise. now you see why the Lakers picked Kobe over him...but honestly i didn't think his decline would be as rapid as it's been.

btw, he's also right in one aspect - imo, Yao hasn't really improved his skills or changed his game - it's always been there. he's just finally getting the assertive, take-over-the-game attitude that you need to be a superstar in the NBA. anyone with his talent, height, and physical abilities should be putting up 27 and 12 with more than 2 blocks a game...with the right attitude and system :idea:

Yup, Yao's skills have always been high, his stress and fatigue from all his National Team games and his first 2 years as a global NBA promoter really took a lot from him... I still say that his injury last year was his key moment, without that long, forced rest, he'll still be sluggish right now.

Ming's progress is also helped by the fact that T-Mac is helping him dominate by going through him first, unlike Francis.

How can you guard a young 7'6" that has speed, mobility, range and almost never misses at the FT line... You would'nt want to Hack-A-Yao hehe.
