Maybe Spurs are thinking Suns way, TD will play the 5 and they will get a scoring wingman to complement Finley, Manu and Parker. Just a thought....

I still think Robert Horry should retire hehehe
Looks like Fabricio Oberto will get some more PT. I don't see any marquee C in the market right now, most of them are stiffs anyways so why waste money on a C that will not produce... Spurs need to run some more, they already have an achor in TD.

the Spurs basically play Tim as a C offensively anyway. he just doesn't defend the other team's 5.
regarding the Bulls again, they do have perimeter players but they are all slashers and hustle guys (Deng, Nocioni) or ball distributors (Hinrich, Duhon). no scorers. Hinrich has potential, but his shot is horribly inconsistent, and the Bulls need him to distribute the ball rather than look for his shot. Nocioni is progressing nicely, so i guess a lot of their success depends on his ability to become a consistent scorer. but right now, who takes the big shot when the team needs it? that's what killed them 2 years in a row in the playoffs.
they are still gonna be a playoff team, and possibly the best defensive team in the NBA. now they need to hire Jeff Van Gundy to play beat-em-up slowball
heard a report that the Bulls offered Minnesota Chandler and Deng for KG. McHale told them to take a hike. now they are trying to see if the Wolves will take Chandler, Deng and Tyrus Thomas....imagine if that happened
starting 5 would be Hinrich, Gordon/Duhon, Nocioni, KG, Big Ben. they would immediately be the favorites for the championship!

btw, for those teams looking for a center (ahem, Pistons and Spurs), there's a pretty good, former all-star center on the trading block. with Bogut, Villanueva and Joe Smith all in the Bucks frontcourt, Jamaal Magloire is on the trading block...

I was laughing when I saw a columnist say that he was putting a separate section on the website in honor of "It's all about the BENjamins" Wallace. :evillaugh
The section is for updates on free agent deals, trades and team needs daw.Last edited by Altis6453; July 5th, 2006 at 11:16 AM.

I agree, the Bulls don't have the "go-to" guy but they got even more athletic after the draft and addressed their need for a low post enforcer with the Ben Wallace trade, some teams will be hard pressed to match their athletecism and length. Give the kids some time they will develop.
