But this is no regular season bro.....look at HEAT's record in the playoffs and compare it to your SUNS two 7-game series. Tsk...tsk...tsk layo ng difference.
No offense, but going against Chicago (who's there that'll really scare you?), and Jersey (no center at all to face Shaqmonsta), isn't really a big run.

I'm a big Wade and Shaq fan and even bigger Riley fan, but reality is, running teams tend to wear down center-driven teams...

I'm not saying they won't be competitive, but to say that the Heat can whoop the Suns/Mavs's behind is a bit far fetched.

For the record, Suns beat Miami twice by an average of 24.5 points, Shaq playing an average of 27.5mpg only...

Shaq and Big Ben's inside prowress is greatly reduced when most of Dal/Sun's offense comes outside the paint.

Dirk/Terry/Harris and Nash/Diaw/Marion pick and rolls will be tough on Shaq, he's never good with pick and rolls (neither are other big men like Yao)...

Who can guard wing players in Miami other than Wade?

Phoenix is so dangerous because they force you to play their tempo. They have 2 great passers in Diaw and Nash, good shooters and a good system, a top flight PG in Nash, athletes in Marion and Barbosa, a hardnosed defender/enforcer in Bell. They only go 6 deep during the playoffs but they are in tremendous shape.

feeling ko ang daming nasunog ngayon sa pustahan in this year's playoffs. puro close games eh. pero marami din nanalo sa high/low dahil puro OT din ang games this postseason

pero go suns pa rin ako until the championship. sana hangang game 7 championship with the suns. di ba M54?
wag naman sana...the next person to come into my office to make fun of it will get assigned the shittiest project :evillaugh

there's some truth to the statement that Miami is much better in the playoffs. mainly because Shaq plays at 50-75% during the season and really turns it on during the playoffs. we knew this about him even during his Laker days.

and Wade is not a great defender....yet

as for Suns/Mavs...i still pick the Mavs to win. they have the weapons, they have a great coach who will not let his team fall into the Suns' tempo trap (remember Phil Jax's successful game planning in the games before good Kobe turned into evil Kobe?), and they ACTUALLY PLAY DEFENSE.

Mike Dunleavy lost his team the series vs. the Suns. what a horrible coaching job. do you guys remember game 6 where he put in a rookie to guard Raja Bell on the game's final play with them up by 3? what about benching one of the most clutch playoff performers, Sam Cassell, in 4th quarters? and whatever happened to using your strengths against the opponent's weaknesses. two of their 3 best players, Elton Brand and Chris Kaman, are dominant post players. Phoenix has no size, strength or inside presence - Kwame fricking Brown dominated them in round 1. why did those two guys not back the ball down the Suns' throats every play??

Avery's not gonna make those same mistakes in 7 games....

interesting stat line for the 2006 playoffs:

15 games decided by 2 points or less (league record)
7 games needed OT (league record)
    4 game 7s

this year's playoffs are one of the best in recent memory IMO

The MAVS will bounce back in game 2 and we're up for a roller coaster west finals.....in the east, Pistons are doubtful to make a strong case for a repeat as east champs.....hope to see the old Pistons in game 2 and for the rest of the series para naman hindi ma-discredit ang Miami when they close this series unlike in their first two.
Truth is Miami turned it on again after their 82nd game in the regular season and only injury can stop Shaq, Wade, JWill, Riles and GP from hoisting the hardware come June.
