ang dumi talaga maglaro nitong si bruce bowen

SEATTLE (AP) - Ray Allen got the final say Sunday night in his escalating feud with San Antonio's Bruce Bowen .

Allen's 3-pointer with 5.4 seconds left capped a 33-point performance and gave the Seattle SuperSonics a 106-102 win over the San Antonio Spurs .

Earlier in the game, Allen was kicked in the back by Bowen while the two were laying on the ground. Bowen was called for a technical, while Allen had to be restrained by Robert Swift and Nazr Mohammed .

''It's just dirty basketball. It's plain, outright, dirty basketball,'' Allen said. ''You guys have chronicled our battles over the last couple of years and I don't mind the competition, someone going at me on both ends of the floor. ... But when guys start throwing elbows and kick you when your down, that's dirty basketball and I don't respect guys like that.''

thats why the Spurs are the defending champs. They have an enforcer in Bruce Bowen.

Daming kaaway niyan - Ray Allen, Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant to name a few

Almost all the champions in the past have enforcers who will protect their star players

    Chicago - Dennis Rodman
    LA Lakers - Rick Fox
    Detroit - Bill Lambeer

I love the Ray Allen - Kobe Bryant matchup, talagang bakbakan. Ray Allen got the best of Kobe last season, but Kobe returned the favor this season.

Bruce Bowen is crafty :D top perimeter defender of San Antonio, he gets my vote for All Defensive team

Suns All-Star big man will sit tonight against Bucks
    Stoudemire Hits Setback

Amaré Stoudemire’s much-anticipated return to the court turns out to have been short-lived, at least for the moment. The All-Star big man will be back in street clothes for tonight’s game in Milwaukee against the Bucks, most likely the remainder of the Suns’ five-game road trip and possibly more.

“We’re not going to put him back out there until he’s at least close to being 100 percent,” a disappointed Mike D'Antoni said from Milwaukee this afternoon.

Stoudemire made his season debut in style against the Blazers on Thursday night, scoring 20 points in 19 minutes of play, giving hope that he could begin to regain his old form as the regular season winds down and be a major contributor in the postseason.

However, he continued to experience stiffness and pain in his left knee, which underwent microfracture surgery in October, as well as his right knee, which has experienced some swelling as his rehabilitation activity increased over the past few weeks. Stoudemire was 2-7 from the field and scored six points in 17 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Nuggets at US Airways Center.

Making his third consecutive start last night in New Jersey, the 2002-03 NBA Rookie of the Year looked sluggish and stiff, going scoreless in 14 minutes of play. STAT was 0-6 from the field as the Suns suffered their third-worst defeat in franchise history, losing 110-72 to the Nets.

“It was pretty rough,” Stoudemire admitted after Monday night’s game. “There was some stiffness, and it was kind of rough out there. I am thinking it’s supposed to be getting better and better and its not. It’s quite the opposite.”

The 6-10 center will return to scrimmaging until his knees improve to the point where he is ready to give game action another try. At this time there is no time table set for his return.

D'Antoni is not giving up hope that Stoudemire can still play a big role this season.

“We’re going to take it day by day,” D'Antoni said. “We will make decisions keeping in mind what’s best for Amaré and the organization.”
