Here's the analysis of sports illustrated's marty burns of the Celtics-Dallas trade:
"This trade is fraught with peril for both teams. The Mavs get an All-Star in Walker, but playing-time issues in the frontcourt could threaten team chemistry and leave Nelson reaching for the Maalox. Unless Dallas makes another trade, Nellie is either going to have to play Nowitzki at center or leave either Jamison or Walker on the pine for long stretches. Either way, it figures to leave one player unhappy while doing little to solve the Mavs' main weakness of a soft interior defense. The Celtics, meanwhile, suddenly look like a one-man team with Paul Pierce as the Lone Ranger. Ainge is right in seeking to change Boston's style of play. The question is whether he could have acquired more in exchange for a three-time All-Star. If Boston doesn't make the playoffs, which is a distinct possibility now, Ainge will take some heat."
I don't think Boston will get far with only one scoring threat. If Vin Baker comes along and plays near his all-star form, then Ainge will be hailed as a genius. Otherwise, he may just get the flak from Beantown's rabid basketball fans.

tumpak, medyo hindi kaya ni bradley kung siya ang ang focus.
sana man lang kumuha ang dallas isa sa mga centers ng boston.

definitely the Mavs will be a run and gun team. Who cares if Shaq or Duncan makes an easy 2 points. Any of the guys in Dallas can make a 3 point shot or a quick 2 in transition. Bradley will probably come off the bench as center and make Dirk as starting center. They do have Danny Fortson who used to be a tough rebounder during his stint in Boston and Golden State. Don Nelson can make him an undersized center, he's 6'8, 260 lbs of muscles. Dallas also have workhorse Najera. For PG, they have to deal Delk and Abdul Wahad to other teams for a backup center. They have a lot of guards in their roster.
For Boston, Raef is perfect fit to a team who didn't have a true blue center. Vin baker might get Baker's post, Mcarthy at 3, Pierce at SG and Banks at PG. A formidable starting 5 for Boston.

So, the projected starting 5 for the C's would look something like this:
1. Marcus Banks - PG
2. Paul Pierce - SG
3. Eric Williams - SF
4. Vin Baker - PF
5. Raef La Frentz - C
Key back-ups would be:
1. Tony Battie - C/F
2. Walter McCarty - F
3. Jumaine Jones (that is, if he hasn't cracked the starting 3 spot)
4. Rusty La Rue (cripes! as the back-up point)
Looks like they have a competitive, if not formidable starting five. I just hope they get consistent scoring out of V. Baker to neutralize the loss of 'Toine Walker.
