Its such a shame that they would break up what was great. Magic once told kobe to wait for his turn when shaq slows down, perhaps none of this would have happen had Jerry West not resigned. Both Shaq and Kobe had such high regard for West that they would put aside their differences for the team. But unfortunately it has to come to this.

I don't think kupchak coached in LA or any other team. After Del Harris, it was Kurt Rambis then PJ.

mitch kupchak was a reserve big man for pat riley's showtime lakers. he went straight from the hardwood to the front office.

he was a big star for the UNC tar heels in his college days too.

i know it had to be done, and i'll appreciate being able to watch him in person more, but it's still sad. also, i'm still upset we weren't able to get more for him

if i were the lakers ite-trade ko talaga yan si oneal,

last training camp walang lumabas sa bibig niyan kungdi contract extension...
and sa hindi nakaka alam yung existing contract niya is 3 years 90 million

overweight and injuries, an extension will eat away salary cap.

time to rebuild: with or without kobe
as detroit showed you dont need a superstar to win the o'brien trophy
