    right now Karl Malone is listed day to day. he reinjured his MCL. Yep this is the same injury that kept him in the IL for so many weeks. If he fails to play on game 3, either Medvedenko or Cook will take his starting spot at PF. Jackson might play Walton at no. 4 since he showed his passing prowess in Game 2.

    Still Gary Payton looks like a lost boy in Jackson's triangle. He started almost all the Lakers games but it seems he hasn't embraced the triangle yet. Fisher is playing hurt and wont be able to chase Chauncey all the time. Still he coul hit those winning shots. Then again somebody needs to contain Billups.

    With malone gone and payton not delivering the goods, they could say goodbye to their sought after rings.
