Sino kaya tomorrow? Di ko pa alam odds, pero I think mga +2 or 3 on SMB since 2 players are out.

The game was over and the players were heading to the dugouts when Ildefonso blew his top on verbal abuses by a Ginebra fan identified as Ferdinand Nervadez, a 40-year-old businessman from Malabon.

“Actually, si Jay Washington ang minumura. Noong nagkatinginan kami, ako naman ang pinagmumura. Eh, tao lang, hindi ako nakapagpigil,” said Ildefonso.

The two-time MVP winner went after the heckler at the gallery, followed by Pingris. Good thing, the Araneta Coliseum security forces and team officials were able to stop the two players.

Ginebra assistant coach Art dela Cruz grabbed Ildefonso, stopping him from getting close to the fan.

bakit si Washington hinde sinugod yun fan? pikon talaga yan si DI....so si Washington hayop?

It wasn’t the first time Ildefonso ran after a fan. There was also a previous case where a fan insulted him about his role in a TV commercial and Ildefonso wouldn’t take it sitting down.

In a statement, the San Miguel Beer team management said it “expressed regret over the incident and stressed it will never tolerate such kind of behavior, especially towards the fans who are the lifeblood of the PBA.”

I know we have a similar rule in the PBA.

The crew chief should've acted on the matter before it got out of hand... What do you think?

Mr. Nervadez probably is a respectable man, makes an honest living, and has a good family... We don't know who he really is, but the behavior he showed basically speaks volumes of his character.

Danny Ildefonso is one of the best players out there. He's actually a real nice guy if you get to talk to him, he's charitable (supports the Jesus Loves the Little Children Foundation and others), a good husband and father, and he's a competitor. -- patriciahizon
