Actually, I feel that the whole scoring and judging system for boxing has needed an overhaul for years. And replay tapes should play a factor in this game.
Unlike other sports such as basketball and soccer, unless you have a knock-out, boxing is based completely on judges' scoring. Discrepancies with such scoring has led to reforms and changes in scoring rules for other olympic sports... which include more judges and which usually drop the highest and lowest scores to minimize bias... why not boxing?
Why not in one of the few sports where match-fixing can mean big bucks? They clamp down on it hard in other sports, but boxing seems to still exist in the 19th Century...

Good news: WBO panel rules in favor of Pacman.
Bad news: They can't overturn the split-decision. Bradley keeps the belt. WBO panel finds Pacquiao winner - The Philippine Star » News » Headlines. The only thing the WBO can do is authorize a rematch. Hello? Wasn't that the plan anyway? The sport is getting more dubious than ever. Niky's right. It's becoming more like the WWE. Kulang na lang magsuntukan si Bob Arum at Vince McMahon.

Panalo si Pacquiao ayon sa findings ng limang judges sanctioned by WBO. They should have at least declared it a no contest or gawin vacant ung WBO title if they cannot reverse the decision of NSAC.

walang naganap na game fixing ayon sa NSAC who made their own investigation.
IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
