type AB+ can receive transfusions of all + blood types, A+, B+, AB+ and O+.
it can only give to AB+.

Ya. Type-specific dapat pag-platelet transfusion.
Go to your local PNRC, most probably they have an AB registry so you can contact these prospective donors.
If your Manila-based, try to contact the blood bank at Metropolitan Hospital. They may have something there for you.

there's this DOH circular that all private blood banks will be abolished or absorbed making PNRC as the central suppliers of blood. so you go there.
but then again, in my province the PNRC is still working it out to establish a PNRC blood bank in all hospitals in the province.
