Good job by the Spurs by beating the highly favored Heat in Game 1 of this year's NBA Finals. They tied a Finals record by just having 4 turnovers in the whole game. "Excellence in execution." My opinion is the Heat better treat the Spurs seriously, they are no "pushovers." The series might not even shift back to South Beach following the 2-3-2 finals format.

Miami Heat's Big 3: (James, Wade, Bosh) are 1 -1 in the NBA Finals. Lost to Dallas in 2011 ( 4-2 ) but won against the Oklahoma City Thunders ( 4 - 1.) Seeking their 2nd NBA Championship in 3 NBA Finals appearance since the formation of their Big 3 in 2011.

San Antonio Spurs' Big 3: (Duncan, Manu, Parker) are 3 - 0 in the NBA Finals. Won against the Nets in 2003 ( 4 - 2 ), won against Detroit in 2005 ( 4 - 3 ) and finally in 2007 by blanking the James led Cavs ( 4 - 0 ). Their 1st championship in 99 was lead by Robinson, Elliot and a young sophie in Tim Duncan.
