hmm when we go to maarat kasi we never go back, i mean lagi exit namin either pintong bukawe, wawa or afp so di na pala pwede yun and i heard na wala ng singletrack sa pintong bukawe kalsada naraw yun

anyway i just climbed ugo last weekend and pwede palang ibike yun puro singletrack and madaming technical and steep sections tapos sa gilid ng bundok yung trail hehe

any suggestion how to align the derailer with the shifter? 8 speed platito and 3 speed plato - mix breeds ito (different brands/models)

minsan kasi mali ang lipat ng gears kumpara dun sa shifter ng kambyo.

Use both the cable tensioner on the RD and the shifter.

spending on good quality cable housing and cable will help a lot.

May ghost shifting ba?

hindi naman...delayed ang lipat...say from 3rd going 4th...pagka-click sa shifter ayaw...kailang ilipat ko muna ng 5th para tumalon sa 4th yung chains, then shift back ako sa 4th (paghindi ko ginawa yun, it would change to fifth gear).

Ano ba ang shifter mo?

Anyway, dun sa dulo ng cable where it connects with the rear derailer, may part dun na pwede mong ikutin. Try mong ikutin either clockwise or counterclockwise para ma-adjust yung shifting nya.

put your chain to the biggest ring (front) and smallest ring (rear) while biking shift to the smallest ring (rear).

Eto yung Rear Derailer ko

alin dun sa 2 screws (lower portion) will adjust the pag akyat sa big gear at alin yun para sa small gear?

Sa front wala akong problem...eto yung front derailer and plato ko:
