thanks ... stem na pala tawag dun... hindi ba dapat branch (kasi para syang sanga from the fork post... )

na over tighten ko kasi yun bolt (kaya nabali yung tenga that holds the bolt)...kasi sa dami ng spacer ko (about 4 inches yata yung total length ng spacers - carbonfiber and a an aluminum)

magsi-*** (este sick) leave nga ako bukas...para matapos na yung bike... hindi nga ako makatulog sa excitement to have it finished and running.

btw, I enjoyed the feel nung ride (because of the all XCR fork)... bumagay sya dun sa batalya (some how).... tama yung stance when riding the bike.

na-ingit ako dun sa bagong batalya ni boybi kasi.... pinag-isipan ko bumili kahit na yung copy cat (baka patayin ako ni mrs pagkasing budget nung kina boybi and his barkada ang bilhin ko)....kung hindi magiging maganda yung ride nung current body with the XCR fork.

check nyo muna ang haba ng stem and degree angle...usual haba ng stem is 70 to 90 mm lang.

Wala akong guide sa degree angle actually...any recommendation/s is appreciated.

I use to be a hardcore BMX (stunt) rider kasi and I use my "gut-feel" riding stance (pang downhill, rampa, drift braking and other hopefully-usefull stupid stunts) as a guide.

After installing the XCR with the current set-up, laking bago ng riding stance nito... (have to lower my seat ng sagad sa body - kasi 5'4" lang ako) tumingala yung front... so with minor adjustments nagkaigi na yung feel.

Walang akong idea about the angle or degree and stuff na sinunod.

Sa saddle, use your arm to measure the height. Lagay mo kilikili mo on top of the saddle, your finger tip should reach the middle of the crank (plato).

    Hello wildthing.

Centro ng para sa plato - P450
    This is called Bottom Bracket

    Fork - Taiwan Suntour XCR - P2800
Ive had 3 suntours na. Very good product

    Headset - P280
Sealed Bearings are better than crown although mas mabigat

Rims - hand-me-down na probably 10y.o. na metal rims japan made (tapos pina powder coat ko) - cost about P200-300* (prep and powder coating)
    Steel is real!

    Spokes - aluminum na mumurahin
Hindi ba stainless, parang malambot iyan if aluminum
Hubs/Centro - pang BMX anodized aluminum (plan to replace it kung hindi magagawan ng paraan yung rear na i-centro because of the 8 speed gear) - P200*
Threaded hubs ba ito? or cassette type? also this might not be diskbrake compatible

Plato, plastic pedals and shifters are shimano (not all are original) - I think it was around P1500-2000 ang inabot.
Plastic pedals? Naaksidente na ako dito, for P300 you can get decent pedals.

Brake (wala pang front) - cheap immitation disk brake - between P500-800 (got it from davao)...mahina ang pagpreno baka palitan ko ng matino.
Dahil dati kang BMX I suggest you go for Vbrakes. Plus yung issue mo with hubs nga

All labor ng assembly are free kasi ako nagbubuo (except tire balancing ng rayos)
    Also called wheebuilding

oo nga.. next in line of replacement yang pedals na yan.

It sure is fun pag ikaw ang gumagawa ng bike d ba?
Since BMX ka, subukan mo ang trial moutainbiking or urban street assault
yung frame mo i believe pang street use din.

Mountain Biking...freespirited, and not-so-complicated fun
