June 1st, 2007 09:37 AM #894Ang pinaka wise choice DEORE well proven. Not too Fancy Not an Entry level
But it gets the Job done.
Equivalent of this would be the american brand SRAM (Taiwan/china made)
7.0 or 9.0
Huwag manghinayang sa stem, pinuputol talaga iyan
besides delikado yung may nakaangat na spacer.
(Although may nabibiling foam pantakip duon sa powerbikes)

If budget permits, and you're getting Deore 9speed, mag XT ka na cog set. Open type sya sa loob at hindi maiipon yung dumi. Sobrang gaan pa.

hehe maskina aku manghihinayang dyan, you might mean steerer tube ng fork kasi yung stem pagpinutol di namagagamit
*iskulbukul basta rule of thumb nalang, put 2 inches of spacer at the bottom of your stem tapos extend 1in of spacer at the top, you can play around with that range of height na, eto edited your pic
yung sobra na steerer tube above the 1in allowance you can cut na
BoEinG is right, kakaupgrade tataas na price ng bike so better get good diskbrakes na kasi konti nalang iaadd mu, importante yung brakes so wag magtipid dyan
*isuzoom wow hanep sa upgrade! pwede ba akin nalang yung basket nung luma mu and yung balancer? bigyan muku discount ah

Are you sure mas mura sa US? Before I bought my new bike, I always check prices sa net. Mas mura talaga dito. Mas marami lang choices and colors sa US. Dito kasi, usually 1 color per model lang ang pinaparating.
