naku im the wrong person to answer your question kasi aku use and abuse, yung mga putik ng bikes ku parang 2 years na ata yun hehe but rule of thumb is service your bike after a muddy or rainy ride, lube your chains and cables and have your bb (kung di pa naka hollowtech) and hubs checked kung nababad sa flood, yung cassette naman brush mu lang ng toothbrush with gas no need to lube
yup isuzoom answered your question kasi sa vbrakes and mechanical diskbrakes-cables gamit, sa hydraulic-oil. try pressing a hydraulic brake laki ng difference sa vbrakes or mechanicals

[QUOTE=sherwintommy;796301]yup a few bike shops offer bike washing, dirtdawg, speedybagal, powerbikes, all tera, around 200 ata charge nila but kasama na lubing of cables and chain
aku sa carwash lang 10 pesos, just dont ask them to soap tapos lube nalang pagkatuyo ng bike, dont lube while the chain or cables are still wet
i think yung 6500 8in rotors na yun, i spent nearly as much for my hydraulic-LX levers, hone calipers but no rotors

yup that's usually the problem with dual control shifters but it wont bother much kung xc or light trail riding lang, but if you ride aggressive or do light freeride di siya advisable. i still stick with seperate levers and shifters kasi pagnasira shifters yun lang palitan ku not like the dual where you have to replace the whole thing
