XCR is a good fork for weekend bikers....but mabigat sa weight and light duty sa performance. Go for the Rockshox J4 na lang...mabigat but heavy duty.

after years of mountain biking, i've finally made the switch to road bikes. most of my riding now is on pavement, so i thought it would be a good idea to switch. i just plunked down good money for a Giant OCR C2, so i thought i'd start riding to work with it and get my money back by saving gas.
also, the american river trail is one of the premier paved trails in the country, and it's nearby, so i thought i'd take advantage. mountain biking is still my first love, but time and location have changed. i'm still keeping my old rig though, just in case i get the itch for single track trails. good riding everyone!

Got myself a Giant Team XtC frame today to replace my K2 frame. Also changed the fork to Suntour XC with remote lockout.
My first choice was supposed to be the Merida TFS frame, but upon weighing both frames, I settled for the Giant since it's lighter by about 30%. But the price is heavier by 100% more
someones are (at last!) loudly asking, "why did they turn off the countdown timers?"
