Mountain Biking...freespirited, and not-so-complicated fun

hi, i wonder if anyone could recommend a good but cheap shop that reconditions mountain bikes. I have a Trek bike kasi nabili ko pa nung 1994 nung elementary pa ako, chromoly frame pa ito. Naisip ko sayang naman dahil nakasabit lang sa garahe at naalikabukan. Low mileage pa ito eh, gusto ko sanang gamitin pang exercise lang, kasu mukhang gusgusin ang itsura kaya gusto ko muna ipalinis. Mga magkano kaya aabutin ito? wala naman sigurong papalitang piyesa ito, mga less than 1k lang kaya magagastos ko dito?

dami ng bike shops eh and it depends on what part you're going to get kasi not one shop carries the cheapest parts, so far sa groupsets cheapest is ross (cartimar), kings and cycle art (quiapo). all tera at libis 650 reconditions bikes try to take it there and look for edmund (owner)

galing ako ng Quiapo kanina .doon sa mga store ng bike.dami bikers doon nag hihingi ng aginaldo sa mga owner ng shop .bait naman ng intsik bigay sia gift calendar at Tshirt..

baka nagkikita kita na tayong tsikoteers either sa trail sa road or sa bike shops di lang natin alam tulad ni nerbyoso nagkita na pala kami sa 24hr race di ku alam sana may senyas na taga tsikot kayo so pagnagkita we can greet each other

i just restored an old mountain bike. but i think the frame is too small for me..anyhow... bike tayo guys. heheh

Anyone here into downhill or freeride mountain biking? Mas exciting kasi ito compared to the usual trail riding.

Yes very exciting pag downhill but very sad during uphill climb.........
