November 2nd, 2004 06:18 PM #431Kicker15, Thank you. Mas mura nga talaga ang trunk rack. Kaya lang may nag advise sa akin na hindi sya okay for long distances. What is your experience sa trunk rack? matibay ba? I might have to settle for this.

try this site mas masasagot siguro nila question mo.

mron na palang thread na ganyan heres the site para mas madali mo macheck.
The farthest that i have travelled with my trunk rack would be CCP from UP Diliman.
another thing that i remembered. fairly stable naman yung trunk rack kung isa lang bike mo and kung medyo magaan lang pero kung 2 bike na steel frame eh ibang usapan na yan. (baka matanggal yung trunk mo.... posible kaya yun?)

November 2nd, 2004 06:45 PM #435Thanks again.
I'll use a trunk rack nalang siguro for short distances, para lang convenient, habang naghahanap ng alternative roof rails.
It's the rails that are expensive, I know someone fabricating roof bike racks and selling them for only P900 with all clamps and straps. Okay na yun, rails lang talaga ang problema.
Kasya pala sa loob? My bike is a 17" hardtail. A bit on the heavy side at 33lbs. Dahil siguro sa disk brakes and 2.2" tires.
Thanks for the site reference.

Up!
Anyone still into this?
Can you guys suggest a shop where I can go and have my bike checked out if it's still ok, and recommend parts for replacement?
Just got a bike (2nd hand) shipped to me, and I don't know quite know how to go about making it run properly.

hello April Ryan, yup am still biking regularly, there are a number of bike shops where you can have your bike checked--dan's bike shop, dirt dawgs at visayas avenue in front of yellow cab, powerbikes at rockwell, there are a couple more bike shops but these are closest to your area =)

miLes,
found powerbikes na. had my bike checked, ok naman daw. the manager was very helpful and he said that the bike frame might be a tad too big for me (17" frame, i'm 5'6").
someones are (at last!) loudly asking, "why did they turn off the countdown timers?"
