August 23rd, 2003 11:02 AM #302A few reasons why i love my MTBs...
1) all terrain
2) light and agile
3) no petroleum-based products needed to make it run
4) healthy, gets my blood flowing, and my lungs pumping
5) you can park it inside your foyer/living room/ bedroom etc. etc.
6) you can carry it on your shoulder
7) its quiet
8) although expensive, they don't cost a million
9) no insurance needed (hmmmm....)
10) traffic cops/aides let you bypass traffic lights, one-way streets, and treat you like a pedestrian
11) you get to talk to your friends while driving together down a track
12) you feel and actually do get younger with every push of the pedal
13) on trails (like hiking, but more fun), you're in touch with nature
14) you learn self-reliance
15) you get to post intelligently on the MTB thread in tsikot.com
what about you?
