July 17th, 2007 05:51 AM #1062I got into Mountain bike not more than a month ago and it was fun, specially now that I'm getting old and my knees cannot take the pounding of running. We have a trail behind our house (greenbelt) and I use it every weekend. I got a cheap Columbia 17 1/2 frame with shimano deraillers and brakes. Image will follow as soon as I find where did the old lady (wife) put away the camera.
Peace

I'm still waiting for my mountain bike. Sabi mountain bike siya pero hard tail. Front susp lang. Still mountain bike tires pero sa tabi lang yung mga knobs. Sa gitna parang flat... ewan ko kung anong tawag dun. Will post pics pag dumating na.

July 18th, 2007 12:12 PM #1068You're getting a good mountain bike specially if you're a newbie like me. For me, full suspension is hard to control specially in grassy and muddy areas. With your tires, you got a semi-slicks, good for pave street and little bit of off roading. But for serious off roading, you might want to invest on full knobbies tires.
Peace
