Actually meron din but on a lesser degree.

BTW, rear suspension can actually be a "con" if you don't know how to use it. Example is when you are pedaling hard, it can cause the bike to go "boing-boing-boing" on its rear suspension. You will have to learn to pedal in "smooth" cycles to prevent this from happening.

para din palang sa auto na pag masyadong malambot ang suspension, at nag boing boing, na-aapektuhan ang speed nya.. tama po?

yup... and to a lesser degree it also affects traction of the rear tire.

yup! people like brent foes and jeff steber of foes and intense cycles comes from the auto racing industry, they apply same principles on mtbike suspension, parang ganito nalang yan, yung hardtail parang sedan let's say a civic, they would have stiffer suspension compared to an suv which can handle a little rough stuff, in the bike's case a full susp bike

but there are full susp bikes that are almost as efficient as hardtails, they dont bob when pedaled but compress as you go over bumps and stuff. this is made possible by the geometry of the bike and of course the platform of the shock itself, yan yung mga 4 bar linkage frames ng giant, virtual pivot point ng intense and sta cruz, etc. adding to these, the shocks themselves have stable platform valves, pro pedals, etc. hehe kanya kanyang tawag yan depende sa shock manufacturer

yup meron, that's the preload setting, soft to hard. there are also controls for compression and rebound. some shocks even offer lockout option and travel adjust where you can heighten or lower the suspension, i really do believe my bike's suspension is way more advance than my car's hehe
