kelangan pa talaga sibakin si choke reyes. di na nahiya. sana nag-offer ng resignation. ayan tameme ka ngayon.
siguro nagkaisa pba owners other than MVP na di magpahiram players kung si chotitay pa din head coach.

"Mr. [Manny V.] Pangilinan wants a Filipino presence if not Filipino as head coach. Ang kalakaran ngayon sa international (basketball) ay you get the best minds you can get," he added.
"In the creation of the selection and search committee, we never discussed that Chot is out. What if he is part of the short list? We can never tell," said Barrios pointing to the possibility that the selection committee could pick Reyes as the Gilas coach again.
ayaw pa nilang diretsuhin na hindi na head coach si Chot, thou he may still be part of the coaching staff, na demote nga lang

PH national basketball team seeks new coach | Inquirer Sports

“A Selection-Screening Committee has been formed to short list coaching candidates,” Barrios said in an SMS message to AFP.

“Chot may or may not be in the short list. (It) depends on the Committee,” he added.

He said that Reyes would continue to take the team until a successor is found.

PBA players pa rin kaya ang mga maglalaro sa Gilas?

^The bottomline should be is that the country sends its best team. I think without a strong amateur program in place, a team composed of PBA players would be the "best team".

Humirit na din si Abe King:
PBA great Abe King says Chot Reyes should step aside, give SBP free hand in picking Gilas coach | PBA | SPIN.PH

Personally, Chot should have resigned when he got back to Manila after that Asian Games debacle. Delicadeza na lang. Hell, if he's qualified, and the SBP sees that, then he gets his position back.

dapat kasi nag resign na lang si Choke Reyes, kaso kapit tuko talaga sa pagiging coach ng Gilas

    https://ph.sports.yahoo.com/news/nam...8556--nba.html

Various sources, however, said PBA team owners, which are lending anew their players for next year’s Asian championship, wanted a new coach.
names have cropped up as possible replacement.
These include Tim Cone of Purefoods Star, Norman Black of Meralco, Jong Uichico of Talk ’N Text, and Rain or Shine’s Yeng Guiao.
Former Purefoods and Meralco coach Ryan Gregorio, who is now the Bolts’ alternate governor, is also said to be in the short list, as well as current TNT consultant Tab Baldwin.
Cone, Black, Uichico and Guiao all have coached national teams in the past, while the 56-year-old Baldwin has mentored the national teams of New Zealand, Lebanon and Jordan. He was a consultant for Gilas Pilipinas last year.
