Rude awakening. Sana maka-adjust kaagad. They could not give-up transition jumpshots. In your face defense talaga dapat parati.

It seems kasi na our offense is there na lang 60-70.

isa lang pwedeng naturalized sa Fiba World.. so either AB or MD.. not both..

Reyes names roster for Fiba World:

Dillinger joins Douthit, Belga in sidelines; Alapag completes Gilas five for W Cup | Sports, News, The Philippine Star | philstar.com

Alapag kept his spot on the team – the lone difference from the roster named earlier for the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, Korea.

The 30-year-old Fil-Am playmaker, the 2003 PBA Rookie of the Year and 2011 PBA MVP who’s also been to the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games and in the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship, was chosen over Jared Dillinger.

Rain or Shine stalwart Paul Lee, as expected, was named to take the spot of the injury-stricken Larry Fonacier.

Making both the Incheon Games and the World Cup are naturalized player Andray Blatche, Junmar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, Ranidel de Ocampo, Marc Pingris, Gabe Norwood, Jeff Chan, Gary David, LA Tenorio and Jayson Castro.

Aside from Dillinger, other Gilas pool members cut for the Spanish joust are Gilas original naturalized reinforcement Marcus Douthit, longtime reserve Beau Belga and Jay Washington.

“We are tapping Paul Lee to take Larry Fonacier’s spot and Andray Blatche as our naturalized player for the World Cup. God bless us all #PUSO!” said the Gilas coach on his Twitter account *coachot.

Blatche and Lee are two replacements from the Gilas team that worked for the country’s return stint in the world meet in the last FIBA Asia Championship held at the MOA Arena in Pasay.

i was also rooting for Dilinger instead of David or one of the point guards. Dillinger and Norwood can also play point.

Gusto ko sana si Washington ang Dillinger nasama....they have the size and mobile...alien sana si David and isang point guard. Based sa tune up, hinde umuubra si tenorio...

Washington can guard the big shooting guards of the opponents... Tapos pwede nila gawin point guard si Dillinger eh di biglang laki line up natin...plus both of them can play multiple positions eh si David and tenorio point guard lang pwede si tenorio si David naman shooting guard ang liit naman hinde pang fiba yun laro...

I thought they will go big following their performance vs. Ukraine. Chot opted for mobility rather than size.

They will live and die on outside shooting kapag ganito line-up.
