I hope this fight happens. In their past fights, Manny KO'd Hatton in rd. 2. Mayweather KO'd Hatton in rd. 10. Manny's win over Marquez wasn't spectacular. Some even questioned it. Mayweather's win over Marquez was convincing. MP has had more pro fights w/ a 50-3-2 record. FM has had less but remains unbeaten at 40-0. Pacman has the distinction of 7 titles in 7 weight classes, Pretty Boy has had 6 championships in 5 weight classes. Interestingly both started fighting at 106lbs.

The Pac Man-Pretty Boy fight seems destined to happen. Unless some strange twist of fate changes things. Mayweather can say he never heard Manny call him out. He could make unreasonable demands on the split of the prize money. Pacman becomes congressman, elopes w/ a certain starlet and decides politics pays better w/o getting hurt...

Then there's this other controversy that follows a Pac Man fight. No, not which starlet he's dating, but the one about pasado ba sa NHI ang pagkanta ng national anthem.

IMO, if the NHI insists that there's only one way to sing the anthem, then they should just stop having a singer render it in his/her own style. Sa susunod, magpadala na lang ng CD or video similar to the one that's played during the LFS in cinemas. The rendition will be correct, viewers from all over the world get to see the country's scenic spots and artists need not worry about the NHI threatening them w/ a lawsuit.
