I take delight in doing things I used to do and trying to do them in a different way. Curiosity is the main way that I keep my brain cells engaged, and how I prevent them from atrophy. It's "mental gymnastics" in a sense. Going DIY and reverse-engineering things to figure out how they work is also very effective for me.

There may be some truth in what they say: an idle mind is the devil's playground, and the devil's name is Alzheimer's disease.

However I feel stupid when the people I am surrounded with are stupid and fail to see any voice other than their own.
