I believe the rule is masks are only required in public transpo and medical settings.

probably 80% of people are still wearing masks

it's optional, except in situations that might warrant ease of infection.

masking does have its non-covid applications... which, i suspect, is why some folks still masque...
one does not need to put on full make-up...
one does not need to shave always...
one need not hurry one's dental appointment...
