I have eaten rats when I was a kid and lived in the barrios. I remembered I liked the taste. The kapitbahays will hunt them rats from rice fields, then either roast it or cook it adobo style.

I have also tried the salagubangs, cooked sarsyado way. You will feel its stomach juice burst in your mouth, a little bit crunchy and yummy.

And the ginisang crickets from a famous resto in Pampanga.
