According to state-run news agency Xinhua, the unidentified patient was believed to have become infected with the plague after catching and eating a wild rabbit in Inner Mongolia's Huade county.

Remember SARS? It also originated from China. It’s their habit of eating almost anything that moves.

^serious... they eat grubs, wild exotic animals. Some are dead end hosts, but when microbes get the chance to grow elsewhere, other than their natural hosts, they can mutate to form a new human disease.
