May 29th, 2018 06:11 PM #2661They missed 27 straight 3 pt shots. No conspiracy there. Your'e not gonna beat the warriors when you dont execute your game plan. Houston lives and dies by the 3.
Ref's conspiracy? Klay was assessed 3 fouls in the 1st half. Golden state had 4 fouls in the first 55 seconds. Please.......

Inasmuch as I hated to watch another Cavs vs Warriors finals (primarily because I'm a Spurs fan , and second, bored na ako sa dalawang to) I just don't believe there is conspiracy behind all these.
Both teams are clearly the best in their respective conferences, their opponents simply succumbed to pressure and inexperience.
Peace out.

Dubs are destined to be in the finals for the next 3 to 4 years. Team is stacked with stars. Cavs meanwhile has the best player in this generation and has been consistent since his heat days.
Scripted to have a 4th installment? I don't think so. In fact it is much more compelling to have celts and rockets in the finals.
Plain and simple like others said, celts is not yet ready while the rockets are flawed.
Referees on the other hand may have a "side job" on the outside. Pretty sure tim donaghy isn't the only one. He just got unlucky to be caught.

Scripts are easier when the better teams are favored. The Rockets are nowhere near the Dubs....They didn't 'need' 7games to prove this.[emoji4]
Let's see how many the Cavs can 'squeeze' out.[emoji6]

May 29th, 2018 07:03 PM #2665If the nba wanted to script things....every conference final would be game 7....yet the last time both conference finals went to a game 7 was in the 70s.....50 yrs ago.
Thats huge tv ad revenue for them if they really wanted to script this.
In anycase on to the finals again

May 29th, 2018 07:03 PM #2666Ako sa tingin ko mas magaling pa rin kobe-shaq lakers and jordan-pippen bulls kesa dito sa gsw..kasi ang mga panalo nito eh more on durability kesa yung dominance talaga..
look at all their playoff series wins,
2015 eh they were down 2-1 against grizzlies at kitang kita na kontrapelo sila until mainjured tony allen and mike conley na pesky defenders sa splash brothers..nung nandun ang dalawang yun grabe hindi nakahinga thompson and curry awang awa na nga ako dahil sobrang exposed sila wala magawa kundi bad shot after bad shot..
tapos ang houston noon eh nawalan din patrick beverley at montiejunas..then pagtapak finals one man team nanaman lebron without love, irving, and varejao naka lamang pa ng 2-1 ang cavs dito kaso down to 7 man rotation sila kaya napagod talaga while dubs completo..
tapos 2017 naman eh pinilayan kawhi leonard. tambak sila sa larong yun until pachulia injured leonard and continue to sweep them. sa finals naman may lamat pala tuhod ni irving kaya iika ika maglaro. pa surgery bigla after nung series.
ngayon naman they were down 3-2 and sure eliminated until sinwerte nanaman at nainjured cp3.
nung 2016 complete lineup cavs eh nag blew a 3-1 lead ang dubs, hindi kinaya. and dont excuse draymond suspension because accumulate siya flagrant or technical fouls nun kaya nasuspend, buong playoffs naninipa sa bay*g yan at puro illegal pick.
ang pinaka bilib ako na panalo ng warriors na fair talaga eh yung sa series vs okc na biglang napalipat sa kanila si durant. dun nagbeast mode talaga thompson.
the warriors are good, they are durable. but let us not be blind followers and dont discount the fact that luck has always been on their side..ilang beses na sila muntik eliminate kung hindi lang injured lagi all star ng kalaban.

Exactly the same thoughts.
I can argue that the Warriors were conspired against because they called 3 fouls on Klay early on and had him sit out most of the first half.
That was a real momentum changer as the Warriors took sloppy shots afterwards and KD even uncharacteristically missed 3 free throws.
I don't deny that bad calls happen - they happen in all sports, all leagues. Refs are human after all - they don't see everything at all angles at all times.

Sometimes it is better to be lucky.
Yes. That okc vs dubs series was good. Okc was favored but gave in to pressure.
Cp3's injury is a given. Every other year, he gets injured.

According to ESPN, last time both conferences were in Game 7 of their finals was 1979, Washington Bullets vs San Antonio Spurs.
Sa sobrang tagal na nga,
Washington Bullets are now the Washington Wizards
San Antonio Spurs are now in the Western Conference.
And the Bullets' opponent in the finals, the Seattle Sonics,
are now the Oklahoma City Thunder
And the three point shot became official in the NBA only after this season, starting from 1979-1980.
(which has since became the trend to succeed in the modern NBA)

To say that it was a conspiracy takes away from the immense talent of the Warriors, and the inability of Houston to adapt and rise up to the game 7 pressure.
So because of a few bad calls you're gonna miss 27 straight threes? That's awful.

Agree that this needs to be peer reviewed. Sounds too good to be true.
