April 23rd, 2015 03:25 PM #254Looks like Rondo won't be re-signing with Dallas following his benching for good by Rick Carlisle.
From the start, it seemed to be a relationship doomed to fail as Carlisle is known for calling plays from the bench and expecting that his PG follow his playbook. Rondo, on the other hand, was used to reading what the defense gave and made plays accordingly.
I guess he'll likely go to NY or the Lakers after this season.

April 27th, 2015 11:58 AM #258Kevin Love - Cleveland Cavaliers - 2015 Player Profile - Rotoworld.comKevin Love (dislocated shoulder) will have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of his injury, but ESPN's Brian Windhorst reports that he will likely miss "a minimum of two weeks."
It seems inevitable that Love will miss games in the second round of the playoffs. We'll await test results before jumping to any far-reaching conclusions, but Tristan Thompson is likely to see the biggest boost if Love is forced to miss any time. James Jones, Mike Miller and possibly Shawn Marion could also see their roles increased, especially if J.R. Smith is suspended for blatantly hitting Jae Crowder in the face on Sunday. Check back on Monday for updates on Love's status.

April 27th, 2015 12:08 PM #259As much as I've come to admire what Brad Stevens has done for the rebuilding Celtics, the injury caused by Kelly Olynyk to Kevin Love in Game 4 merits at least a suspension AND fine. Inasmuch as that's "playoff basketball", it's certainly no way to entice a would-be free agent recruit to join the team.
Ditto for JR Smith who gave a cheap shot to Jae Crowder.
Simply no room for such on-court thuggery by both teams.
