Well, I think the question is being addressed to me. Edited the query to reflect that.
Anyway, kahit nung bago pa lang akong subscriber parati nang may offer to upgrade para sa additional 20Mbps on average.
Pero prior to that, magkakaroon muna ng patikim nung faster speed supposedly for a period of time only.
Ina-avail ko yung promo period pero di naman ako nag-uupgrade ng subscription fee.

Ganun lang ng ganun hanggang tumataas na yung speed ko from 25 -> 40 -> 50 -> 100 hanggang ngayon na 200Mps++ na nga.
Usually after ng speed promo bumababa dun sa naunang speed upgrade, pero after a while it creeps up din dun sa promo speed.
Then rinse and repeat lang hanggang sa umabot na nga ngayon sa ganyan.

Not sure lang kung dahil early subscriber ako, or kung dahil hindi pa ganun ka-saturated dito sa lugar namin.
May halong swerte na rin dahil bihira kami magkaroon ng talagang mahabang downtime like sa ibang lugar.
I can only imagine yung hours or days na walang service dahil yung 3 hours eh matagal na dito sa amin.

Where is the 5k/month? This is from their website when I entered my PH address. Granted it's just an estimate.

Also, I think their monthly bandwidth quota is 1TB.



Again, satellite internet is not for everyone. If you have an off-grid hacienda in the mountains, this is probably your only option for connectivity.

just recently lang may tumawag sakin csr ng pldt and she offered me a free wifi mesh and speedboost. saktong i need a mesh badly because my old linksys router was outdated getting malfunctioned sometimes and kinda slow even with pldt fibr connected through it.

since we've been to pldt ever since wala talaga kaming balak mag lipat ng ISP.

Goods na yan if that's the case. Purpose lang naman ng mesh is to extend the signal somewhere sa house na may walls. Mga 1k-1.5k din price ng each mesh.

Napabili ako ng Deco M4 because of the reviews na bumilis ang net nila dahil sa limitation ng router nila and I found na nag improve nga ung speed ko from 30 ish to 40 ish Mbps. I tried din sa rooms upstairs and the speed was also 40ish so I think no need to buy additional units na at sakop na nya ang house. My plan is 25 Mbps pero nag silent upgrade sila to 40 when this became their minimum speed offer. Ang hindi ko lang alam ay kung saan naka connect ang tapo cam ko kasi I set it up before I installed the Deco. Pano kaya ito, remove ko ang camera and reconnect using Deco or matic na sya na lumipat?

I tried shifting my phone's WiFi back to the old router and confirmed na 30 ish lang sya BUT when I tried my old phone na connected to the router, it gets 40ish?! Now I'm confused. Anything I need to know why my current setup is like this?

same SSID yung old router and Deco? if not, just remove the cam in tapo app den add the same cam. to remove cam, long press the screen while at tapo home screen

not a new customer though but i'm on 1699 and getting 411mbps on 5ghz wifi connection

Nakadalawang reference number na ako.. 1 week pabalik-balik yung technician di nila maayos-ayos ang speed..
150Mbps sa plan ko, 70 Mbps lang max yung 5G ko..

I used to have both PLDT and Globe fiber plans but I have higher speed with PLDT at a cheaper price. No brainer, let go of Globe but had to pay P7K for pre-termination fees.
