Wala ngang POP3, but Google says they will add POP3 and IMAP4 sometime in the future.

Doesn't matter to me... Google's interface is so simple, it's not a pain to use in your internet browser, like Yahoo and Hotmail are.

Yup that's is true Sir Ungas, with the introduction of the POP3 yahoo email at China, e-eliminate na yung use of third party software like yahoopops para idownload iyung emails.

    Correction lang, 1,000 MB = 1GB

Ohh, mali pala conversion rates ko.

Ang current ordinary yahoo mails di ba set at 100MB lang? So that means, this is one helluva great treat for Yahoo China users. :D

ang maganda lang naman sa gmail is mabilis mag attach ng file compared sa yahoo. mas mabilis din mag load, pero maybe because konti palang user. at mas maganda ang interface niya for me...

pero one problem is pag sa school ako nag access ng gmail. sasabihin niya please turn on the cookie, eh d ko magawa kasi d naman ako admin... d ko mabuksan

POP3 allows you to use utilities like Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird to open your mail.

For example, if you have Thunderbird set up on you r computer at home, you just log into the internet and activate Thunderbird (or just set it to autostart). This automatically allows you to access your e-mail without logging in or going through Internet Explorer or Netscape or Firefox.

It makes it much easier to organize your mail.

Gmail can't do any of that yet... you'll just have to wait for the update.
