I've tried Wi-Tribe around two years ago when they gave out trial units. The test lasted for a month. The first week was actually good, as I was getting very good speeds. The following weeks, the service started degrading, where it was even difficult to get a good signal unless I place the receiver on a specific spot in the house. The bandwidth also suffered, to the point where my Globe Visibility (had it since 2006) and PLDT Weroam+ 3G modems were giving me better and more consistent speeds. I don't know how Wi_Tribe is now but it odesn't seem their sales really took off. Must be the bandwidth cap restrictions that throttled their sales, *lol*
Their bandwith is low, that is why they can't keep their promise speed. Kulang na din freqauency nila due to Smart and GT.
