The new version 2.0 of OpenOffice is MS Office file compatible
    have you tried StarOffice?

Kaya nag hang pc mo kc gamit mo siguro Microsoft Windows

    New features of OpenOffice 2.0

rephrase nalang... hindi support as in customer support kundi application support... parang ang analogy ko sa Word...

Both 1.0 and 2.0 naman are compatible.

I haven't tried newer versions of Linux pero I know Linux is way much better... wala pa gaano masyado applications kasi noon... kaya stuck lang mostly sa programming/shell applications.

we use linux (red hat) as the server for our POS system sa store, it takes a while to get used to but it is almost the same as windows once you get the hang of it. Another reason to go linux...free virus scanners and virus scanner updates.... as in FREE... sa Microsoft hindi lang 57,000 ang gastos more pa.

Sa akin lang talaga, is kulang lang ng tiyaga ang tao na mag-change ng OS kasi sobrang sanay na sa windows, kung for home use pwede pa gawing rason yun, but if sa offices..heck ...UP did it, they changed their whole system and being maintained by them too. hopefully linux is the future...

OT: there is a growing worldwide reaction against overprotection of copyright. computer software falls under copyright. the rights of copyright users are progressively being neglected and at an alarming rate at that.

in fact, i did my masters thesis on the possibility of amending international laws on copyright to enhance the rights of copyright users.
