Still playing with a 2-yr old game. But, I really like FSX.....
I'll be assembling a new gaming pc soon. This one I'll hand me down to my daughter (for her WoW). Right now, it's hooked up to an old 32" Magnavox lcd tv.

ang laki ng monitor!
me I have a 22" wide on a 5.1 sorround with a 12" subwoofer powered with V12.
I'm really hooked with Left4dead right now. It's a RESIDENT EVIL/COUNTER STRIKE kind of game.
too bad, I am having trouble using keyboard controls since I'm not much a PC gamer. I am going to buy a gamepad nalang since wala pa budget xbox360.

Yup. I like the 32" screen. It's still low-res with a screen resolution of only 1280 x 768. That makes it equivalent to a 17" pc monitor. That's fine with me though. Web surfing is wonderful with such big text and clarity.
I also have a cheap set of 5.1 RCA speakers hooked up to it. It's not as bass-heavy as my Logitech Z-2300 2.1's. There's simply no way with that thin subwoofer. But, the midrange is good which makes it ideal for music.

"Flying" around in FSX. I have the free JASDF F2A add-on. It didn't occur for me to check if the F2A pictures I took in Japan last year matched with the FSX add-on.
Wouldn't you know.... They do match. The FSX F2A "506" and the real 506 (my current wallpaper):
What a coincidence....Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; January 4th, 2009 at 02:56 AM.

Jun,
here's a very nice simulation of the NY crash flight-video. (on Microsoft flight simulator X?)

It looks like either Flight Simulator X or Flight Simulator 2004 with enhanced terrain (and of course, re-skinned aircraft). The terrain is probably a paid add-on or maybe Tile Proxy which uses Google or Yahoo satellite image tiles. Either way, the terrain on the clip looks better than the default on FSX.
I had Tile Proxy installed earlier. But, I did a clean install of Win 7 Beta on this pc. So, I had to reinstall FSX. But, I haven't gotten into reinstalling Tile Proxy yet.

Choice I would have made as well.
