Thanks Doc. I'm in my 40s, I acquire & wear now things that I aspire and afford. I purchased my watches as milestones to whatever achievement [God's blessings] I attained, stories that I will look back later in my life

For the veteran Seiko watch owners here, do you mod your watches like replacing the straps with hybrid leather+rubber types or getting a new bezel?

Is there such a thing as an "affordable grail"? Seiko SARX029 is not Grand Seiko but damn it looks so good!

This one is no longer in production. I'll try to find one at my next visit at Japan. screenshot_20230619_092629_youtube.jpg

    in my opinion,
there may be a common definition of a grail watch, but in truth,
a grail watch is what you make of it.

as a watcfh aficionado once put it,
"a grail watch is a watch that you covet, until the next grail watch comes along."
to watch fans, there's no end to the so-called grail watch.
    heh heh.

Watch aficionado and Hi-fi audio afficionado have something in common . . A supportive other half (wife/husband) in search of the never ending upgrade . . grin
